Education is PROTECTION
$100 keeps one child in school and protected for an entire year.
Help protect vulnerable children in Benin by supporting their access to education.
In Benin, about 1 in 4 children is out of school, and the number is likely even higher in rural areas where many cases go unreported.
When children are not in school, they face much greater risks. Child trafficking, dangerous child labor, and for girls, early marriage
Advance Benin works to remove these barriers and ensure children can learn, grow, and stay safe.
Every donation helps remove barriers that prevent children from accessing school.
What is the Dessert Dash?
The dessert dash is a fun and meaningful community fundraising event where guests enjoy an afternoon together while supporting education for vulnerable children in Benin. During the event, participants make donations to support Advance Benin programs. As donations come in, donors are invited to dash to the dessert table and choose their favorite donated desert to enjoy.
Why Education Matters
In many communities in Benin, education is more than learning-it is protection.
When children are not in school, they are more vulnerable to:
- Child labor
- Child trafficking
- Early marriage for girls
- Long-term poverty
By helping children stay in school, we help protect them and open the door to brighter futures.
