Many of the children we support have already expressed a deep desire to learn a trade, start a career, and build a path toward financial independence. The reality is that in the communities where they live, opportunities are scarce, resources are few, and survival is a daily struggle. The best way we can help them is not to force a one-size-fits-all approach to education but to listen to their aspirations and equip them with real-world skills that align with their dreams.
By the time they complete four years of junior high school, these students have the necessary literacy foundation to understand a trade, communicate effectively in French, and begin working towards self-sufficiency. This is the perfect moment to introduce hands-on learning opportunities, giving them the skills they need to enter the workforce and support themselves.
