About Advance Benin

Founded in 2021, Advance Benin is a nonprofit organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty and vulnerability for children in Benin by providing access to quality education. Our journey began with one child, Kemi a young girl whose dream of attending school inspired us to take action. Today, we have expanded to serve multiple communities, supporting dozens of children and working hand-in-hand with families, educators, and local authorities.

At Advance Benin, we believe education is more than just a gateway to knowledge it is a shield protecting children from child labor, trafficking, and exploitation. It is also the key to unlocking their God-given potential and empowering them to contribute to the growth and prosperity of their communities.

Our mission is simple yet powerful: to protect the most vulnerable children in Benin by ensuring their enrollment in school, equipping them with the essential tools to succeed, and guiding them toward a brighter future.

Beyond the classroom, we are committed to addressing systemic challenges in Benin’s education system, whether through building school libraries, organizing job fairs, or fostering strong community awareness about the importance of education.
